Dan Thomas, Licensed Cosmetologist - Staff Bios

Dan Thomas, a Sevier County native,  has been practicing the art of hair care for over 18 yrs. Dan has managed up-scale salons for a major corporation before being promoted to an area supervisor a few years back. With a true passion for hands-on, Dan decided it was time to venture out into his own practice taking his unique experiences and skills with him.

Dan has managed and worked in Salons from California to Tennessee. He continuously strives to offer the best to his clients, even taking more specific color studies in  cities such as New York, California and Tennessee. With a true gift for the hair industry Dan has been told many times that his clients appreciate his openess and honesty. 

Dan consultates every  individual offering his professional  opinion on which style and or color  would best compliment each individuals features. He will blend his skills and talents to make sure that you are completely satisfied with the final results. Dan strives to make everyone happy with every salon service since you are not only advertising RainDrops Salon Massage, you are advertising his talents as well.  

Dan is here to offer a professional consultation in the best interest of your hair needs, himself and the salon, he may refuse the services you are requesting if your hair is too damaged due excessive coloring or other chemical services or dry , frizzy damaged hair that may have unfavorable results.

Don't worry ! There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Dan will make a  recommendation on what professional  Matrix or Logics salon products to use on your hair so that you may eventually have the chemical services that you are requesting.

Since the opening of the salon in 2007, our Matrix representatives have been so impressed with Dan and his abilities, they have been wanting him to become an Artistic Educator for Matrix. We are proud to announce that Dan finally took them up on the challenge and is officially an Artistic Educator for Matrix.  

How does this affect you?
First of all, Dan is not going anywhere and will still be working at RainDrops Salon Massage. This does mean that Dan will continue to take top of the line education and bring it back his clients, allowing him to offer the latest cuts, styles, colors, etc.  Look to our homepage for more information concerning any changes in days the salon is closed.
